On Friday, 1 December 2021, The Australian Aged Care Group Pty Ltd (AACG) Managing Director, John Matthies, was joined by his wife, Sue, and son, Edward Matthies (CEO) to commemorate the commencement of construction of Mt Eliza Gardens Aged Care with the “turning of the sod”.
The luxury, state-of-the-art, 150-bed aged care facility is the latest in developments for AACG, as the family-owned company continues to bring premium residences to those ageing and wishing to stay in their local communities.
Mt Eliza Gardens boasts hotel-style amenities and will provide the highest standard of aged care available. The brand new facility will give locals the opportunity to continue to enjoy their Mt Eliza lifestyles as well as stay close to their loved ones.
Mt Eliza Gardens has been architecturally designed by Smith + Tracey Architects and has now commenced with building by Kane Constructions. The aged care residence has been met with very positive community interest and promises to be a further drawcard to families perhaps looking to permanently relocate to regional Victoria.
